This is a hand crafted item made to order.

Each piece measures 10 x 10 cm. Each coaster is unique and as the designs are printed onto a natural product, some images show the grain and texture of the wood beneath giving a distressed vintage feel to them. This is part of their charm. Each coaster is sealed with a heat proof varnish ready for your hot drinks or cold beverages.

About the Design - The Wood Nymph

This original painting was inspired by my Autumn woodland walks in the Peak District National Park. The wood nymph is the spirit of places like Padley Gorge which is one of my favourite walks. It feels like a scene from a Tolkien novel with twisted oak trees and huge mossy rocks along the banks of the stunning Burbage brook. There is always a sense of enchantment and of being watched here, even when walking alone.
