Wooden hand-finished coaster - Tree of Life - Birch

This is a hand crafted item made to order.

Each piece measures 10 x 10 cm. Each coaster is unique and as the designs are printed onto a natural product, some images show the grain and texture of the wood beneath giving a distressed vintage feel to them. This is part of their charm. Each coaster is sealed with a heat proof varnish ready for your hot drinks or cold beverages.

About the Design -

This is the first of a series of Tree of Life Canvases. This one features the ghostly white bark of the birch tree and the red fly agaric mushrooms.  Traditionally, the birch tree symbolises New beginnings and healing. It is known as the pioneer tree as it is often one of the first trees to set seed and colonise grass and moorland areas.
