About the Design -
This piece celebrates the Pagan Sabbats or Festivals which help us connect to the changing seasons of the year. There are eight festivals linked to the Solstices, the Equinoxes, harvests, the coming of Spring and the ending of winter. They are Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon and Samhain. Each of these animals is associated with the old stories relating to the festivals.
