About the Design - Animal Totem - Summerlands

The original painting is part of a series of Acrylic paintings celebrating the fauna of the British Isles linked to traditional ancestral wisdom. This print depicts a white horse emerging from long golden grasses. Horses as a totem animal are traditionally linked to personal power and strength. The Summerlands are a Northern European mythological place where we go one we have passed on rather like the notion of Elysium.
