About the Design - Whatstandwell Beech
This design depicts one of my local trees at Whatstandwell, Nr. Ambergate, Derbyshire. It sits in a tranquil setting, high on a bank in woods overlooking a leafy lane. It has such power and strength, looking down at the canal below. The exposed root system is vast, is above eye level and supports a host of wildlife. It reminds us to step up and see things from a higher perspective..
