About the Design -
This piece celebrates the first of twenty Ogham Trees, Birch or Beithe.
The birch is native to the British Isles and is known as the pioneer tree as it is often the first tree to colonise new ground. It is also known as ‘the lady of the wood’. Spiritually, Birch is linked with new beginnings and new opportunities.
It is also linked to renewal, love, fertility and healing.
