Wooden hand-finished coaster - The Traveller

This is a hand crafted item made to order.

Each piece measures 10 x 10 cm. Each coaster is unique and as the designs are printed onto a natural product, some images show the grain and texture of the wood beneath giving a distressed vintage feel to them. This is part of their charm. Each coaster is sealed with a heat proof varnish ready for your hot drinks or cold beverages.

About the Design -

This painting embodies THE TRAVELLER archetype often found in folklore. He is a mix of wanderer, wiseman, minstrel, bard and truth seeker. I love his positive energy. He brings with him encouragement and helps us to follow our dreams, walking the path to happiness. Inspired by Norse mythology, he wears the compass on his wrist band and the R Rune represents journey. Over his back, he carries an early styled Lute.
